BMW E10 CHROME BUMPER SET FOR LATE US CARS

Euro bumper set for E10 with long rear bumpers corners (cars made from 1971-1977) and without the rubber trim strips- smooth look. The rear bumper does not have holes for licence plate lights- this is good for installing on an US car as you do not have to change your licence plate lights. This set in NOT chrome plated.

The bumpers are custom made from abut 1.5mm thick stainless steel and are polished to a mirror shine. The bumpers pictured have the inside painted black for rust protection. The kit is great for Euro conversion as it includes all the needed bolts and hardware even the seals that seal the front bumpers brackets with the body.

The metal parts are brand new aftermarket parts. Some of the hardware parts are brand new Original BMW parts. As the metal parts are custom hand made items sometimes very minor enlarging of the square neck bolt holes with an small square file may be needed- easy to do.

Mounting:
Euro spec late model cars:
Front- bolt on
Rear- bolt on but no licence plate light holes (ask if you need bumper with holes as we also have sets with these holes)

US spec cars:

Front bumper is secured to the chassis rails using 2 included Euro brackets- some US cars will need 2 holes drilled in each chassis rail to fit the brackets. For perfect looks it is recommended to weld shut the square holes left in the front metal valance from the US bumpers shock absorbers with 2 simple sheet metal plates. The sides are fitted to the fenders with 1 bolt each.

Rear bumper is secured to the body with included Euro brackets- 4 holes need to be drilled in the rear metal valance to fit these brackets. The sides are fitted to the fenders with 1 bolt each.

Fits: Any E10 (1971-1977) US and Euro cars. These can also be fitted to early round taillight cars.
