VW BEETLE / TYPE 3 / TYPE 181 H4 HEADLIGHT KIT

Euro H4 headlights for Beetle (Bug) cars made from August 1967 to July 1973. The kit includes left and right side headlights and two H4 bulbs and two small city light bulbs (not pictured). These headlights are great for converting to Euro spec and they also offer better lighting performance compared to the US sealed beam lights.

These are brand new good quality Original Hella lights and bulbs.

Mounting: These are secured to the front fenders using a few screws as originally. The standard US cars headlight plug fits for the Hi and Low beam. Optionally you can also connect the Euro city light small bulb with some simple wiring modifications needed- just take the power from the running lights and connect it to the 2 standard flat electric connection terminals on the euro light unit. These are direct replacement on Euro Beetle and Type 3 cars- no modifications needed.

To install these lights on an Euro or US spec T2 Bus an very simple modification is needed- unclip the glass lens form the headlight housing and rotate it 90 degrees to correctly place the beam in a horizontal position.
