BMW E24 US TO EURO CONVERSION REAR BUMPER 76-89

Special US to Euro conversion rear bumper for E24 USA spec cars made from 1976 to 1989 years.

This looks like the Euro 1st gen rear bumper but due to all US spec cars having similar rear ends as the Euro 1st gen cars will fit all year USA spec cars.

This is needed when doing Euro bumper conversion on you USA spec E24 6 series. All other Euro bumpers will need cutting, welding and repainting of the rear end of your E24.

This one has special exhaust cutout to fit US spec exhaust tips. It is also made to cover the US spec car sheet metal strip located under the taillights which otherwise would be left exposed and spoil the look.

This metal strip under the taillights is currently covered by a long rubber strip on your car and will only be visible once you remove the US spec bumper and trim to convert to Euro spec bumper.

Please see the last pictures with the bumper installed on our test car. You can barely see the mentioned metal strip in the very last picture- it is covered by the new bumper.

This is a brand new aftermarket part made from Pflex (mix of multiple composite materials- carbon; kevlar and elastic resin). As this is a replacement part professional paint prep and install (some sanding, priming, filling) is always needed.

Mounting: The bumper has built in mounting points for easy install. You simply remove all of the USA spec bumper and its trim and shocks.

The new rear bumper is mounted to the USA spec car using our special adaptor brackets- bolt on. Please ask if you need the brackets as they are sold separately.

Fits: Any USA spec E24 (1976-1989 all 3 generations)
